Beautiful Byron Bay

 *
Karen, Janara, Sage, Shilo and I spent the day in Byron Bay.
It is about an hour and a half south of Brisbane, near the Gold Coast.

We began by driving up to the light house.
While at the light house we walked down that long path to the most eastern point in Australia.
On the foothills near the light house, once was home to many goats.
Sadly, today there is only one but, we were lucky enough to see him!
Can you spot him?

Next, we drove down to the beach.
We ate a picnic lunch, changed into our togs (swimsuits), played in the sand and water.
After a few hours on the beach, we drove into town and did some window shopping.
I saw a skirt I loved, but it was $129!

There was only one part of our day that wasn't perfect..
Karen took us to her favorite restaurant in Byron for milkshakes,
unfortunately, they were already closed for the day!
We had been looking forward to the milkshakes all day so we were a little disappointed..

But on the drive home we stopped at a connivance store and got ice cream.
We just imagined they were milkshakes...
Sage enjoyed hers!

Karen took us through Bangalow on the way home the views were unbelievable!
I tried to take a picture, but we were going about 100k/hr so it doesn't do it justice.
What a perfect way to spend a Sunday!

If you are feeling a little envious, you might like to know,
I did get sunburn on my back that will be sore for a few days.
