On Sunday morning we went with Rae to the Market.
She goes every week to get her fruits and vegetables
It was pretty big.
There was fresh produce, flowers, and knick knacks,
just like one would expect at a market.
The flowers were my favorite part.

Most of the streets in Toowoomba are lined with these beautiful trees.
Don't they look perfect for a tree fort?

After the market we went to a few gardens and parks in town.
There were 2 kookaburras in the tree! See them?
This garden had a Magnolia tree too but it was MUCH bigger than the one last weekend.
Aren't those flowers amazing?
They smelt so good!

There is a Japanese garden a few miles away.
It was beautiful too.

Picnic Point gave us great views of the area.
The "mountain" is called Table Top Mountain.
It is sacred to the Aboriginals.

After eating lunch at a little cafe, we went to the Cobb and Co Museum.
There was some natural history...
Check out that huge turtle monster! I wouldn't want to run into him!
Lots of carriages...
That is where the museum gets its name.
It was the company that did mail delivery back in the early days of Australia.
A gallery of a famous Queensland photographer's photos...
The picture is in downtown Brisbane.
Sometime, I will post a picture of what it looks like today.
Aboriginal artifacts...
The painting is modern, but has traditional characteristics.
It had so much detail, it was amazing!
There was also a cool gallery with butterflies displayed, but you couldn't take pictures.

In the gift shop I had to do a double take!
That box looks very similar to boxes my Grandpa has made.
Look at those prices! It made each of my pieces a little extra special.
I saw Grandma's flowers on Saturday and Grandpa's stained glass on Sunday!
