On the second day of my trip I went to the Jenolan Caves.
It was about an hour away so, I went in a tour van.
Daryl was our driver.
He was friendly and kind.
On the way home one women got car sick
(It was a very curvy road and Daryl was a fast driver)
He got out and rubbed he back and gave her tissues and chewing gum.

Immediately when I got to the caves I went on a tour of the Orient Cave.
It was really cool! there were so many different stalagmites and stalagtites.
The big blue pool was inside the cave.
It was very rare for it to be filled with water,
but there had been a lot of rain in Australia so I was able to enjoy its beauty!
Most of the cave was wet and shiny.
That means that they are still growing.
I appoligise to any cave experts... My cave comprehension was at about a 3rd grade level.

I ate my picnic lunch outside of the adorable 160 year old hotel above.
I was joined by the friendly bird.
There were also lots of wild flowers all around!

After lunch, I went on a self guided tour of a cave just on the other side of the tunnel.
That cave was HUGE!
It was a lot different then the cave in the morning, but still very cool!
From the top there was a good view of green lake.
I guess it is usually more green, but because of all the rain it wasn't as vibrant.
Before I knew it was time to go!
When I go back to Katoomba I went straight to the train station and went back to Sydney!
